Our commitment

Buying or selling a home in Los Angeles should not be harder because of a disability. We are working to make this website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or the technology used to browse it. This is an ongoing effort, and we review the site regularly as content is added.

Standards we aim to meet

Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for people with a wide range of disabilities.

What we have done so far

• Headings are structured in a logical order so screen reader users can navigate by section.
• Text and background colors are chosen for readable contrast, and text can be resized in the browser without losing content.
• Links and buttons are labeled with descriptive text rather than phrases like “click here.”
• Forms, including the home valuation and contact forms, use labeled fields.
• Phone numbers are formatted as tap-to-call links.
• The site is built to work on mobile devices and at different screen sizes.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas include:

• Some older blog images may be missing descriptive alternative text. We are adding it as we review each post.
• Embedded third-party content, such as property listing feeds, maps, videos and social media embeds, is controlled by outside providers and may not meet the same standards.
• Downloadable PDF guides may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need a guide in another format, contact us and we will provide it.

Reasonable accommodations

If any part of this website or any information on it is not accessible to you, we will provide it in an alternative way. That includes reading content over the phone, sending it by email in plain text, or meeting in person. Accommodation requests are handled at no cost to you.
